My name is Eleanor, I am 42 years old and live in Doncaster. Over the last 20 years, I have worked for The Law Courts dealing with small claims and family matters. I then began working for Gibson Booth, an Insolvency firm in Barnsley, dealing with bankruptcies, IVA's and cashiering. In 2002, I had a road traffic accident and I was off work on long term sick for 6 years in constant pain and under the care of various consultants. I finally had an operation on my hip followed by plenty of physiotherapy. During this time, my cousin, Donna, asked me to stay in her home to look after her pets while she went on holiday. I found that I really enjoyed the two weeks, looking after her pets and keeping her home secure. Donna who is a veterinary nurse, began telling her colleagues, family and friends of my pet sitting and this service became very popular. I came to realise that I enjoyed pet sitting much more than working in an office. So after months of deliberation, I decided to leave my job and set up Sitter4pets Pet and House Sitting Services as my full time business. Having that accident actually changed my life and I'm much happier now.
I have put my heart into this business and continue to strive to make this pet and house sitting services a unique and personal service for each client and their beloved pets. I rarely get a day off and haven't taken a holiday in years! I wouldn't change it for the world and I love doing what I do, moving from one house to the next looking after different and often quirky pets.

"We found Eleanor over the internet and she looked after my two dogs for a week, one of which is a handful. We got regular text updates and videos emailed about how the boys were doing, which put my mind at ease knowing they were happy and safe. Came home to two very contented boys and a lovely clean house. Already booked for later in the year and 2015. What a find!”
